You would be working in a ship repair yard on various Oil & Gas / maritime projects in the region. Key Requirements Skills required for the Area Manager: *3 years' experience in ship repair both onshore and offshore *HBO qualification *Undergone training in TU/HTS Shipbuilding, Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and completed a course in management / leadership *Experience in onshore and offshore ship repair/construction/maintenance *Good knowledge of English Job Description Area Manager - Naval Architecture - The Netherlands (contract assignment) Leap29 are urgently seeking an Area Manager for a client based in the Rotterdam region of The Netherlands. You would be working in a ship repair yard on various Oil & Gas / maritime projects in the region. Terms of the contract include: *Competitive gross hourly rate (to be discussed on application) *6 month contract *Immediate start *Rotterdam region Your role would be assisting in the current project reporting to the Project Leader and also overseeing team members from other disciplines ensuring the project is managed in accordance to the guidelines set out. Areas in which you would provide assistance would be: *Produce project plans, coordinate project resources and communicate with stakeholders whilst maintaining project quality, cost and turnaround of a project. *Manage the project team and delegate responsibilities *Implement and follow HSE regulations *Occupy responsibility for commercial considerations such as budget control, tender reviews and departmental financial evaluations *Carry out technical reviews to manage performance on key project deliverables within specified deadlines.
