PROJECT MANAGER - $1.5B USD NICKEL PROCESSING PLANT - INDONESIA My client is a leading Engineering Construction company, providing Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Project Management services to a variety of industry sectors. They have a multicultural network spanning every continent and are work in over 100 countries. Having secured the EPCM Contract for a large Nickel Processing Plant, they are now looking for a Project Manager to join their Jakarta office and work on the$1.5B USD project. Requirements The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience as Project Manager for large Industrial EPCM projects. As this is a Greenfield Nickel Processing Plant, ideally your experience will include the management of Metallurgical Processing plants. Candidates with Project Management experience on similar metallurgical mining projects, in developing countries may also be considered. Ideal candidates will have a relevant Engineering Degree (or equivalent) and at least 10 years of industry experience. • Serve as the primary liaison between SAUDI and SAUDI rig Contractor and shall provide supervision of all operations performed on SAUDI wells.
• Provide training and evaluation of SAUDI Liaisonmen/ Toolpusher trainees.
• Make recommendations on alternative methods in resolving defects of equipment when unusual situations are encountered and coordinate timely deliveries of SAUDI and SAUDI Service Company materials and equipment to the well as required.
• Ensure that SAUDI Contractors meet all contract requirements and shall verify and approve all SAUDI contractor and service company operations by way of tour reports and field tickets.
• Ensure that SAUDI Contractors maintain the Rig and Equipment adequately to maximize efficiency and minimize down time, and that SAUDI materials and equipment are properly utilized, handled and stored and report to SAUDI for any misuse by Contractors of these materials and equipment.
• Ensure that all SAUDI safety rules and regulations are followed by SAUDI Contractors and work with Drilling and Workover Engineers to see that modern practices are followed.
• Work closely with SAUDI Drilling and Workover personnel as required accomplishing objectives and performing other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Drilling Superintendent.
• Field Mentorship of trainees in the field development program (FDP).
• Coordinate with the focal point for trainee's requirement.
• Train and instruct rig hands on job training (OJT) performance.
• Mentor rig hands at rig site.

• Provide on-site supervision of Rig Electricians & Trainees to the degree required for the experience level and job skill of the person or persons assigned normally 2 to 4 persons.
• Read and fully comprehend manuals, schematics, blueprints, as built drawings of the rig and all related equipment. Using these skills whenever possible for on-the job training of Rig Electricians and Trainees.
• Monitor the work performance of Rig Electricians & Trainees to insure the work is done properly and all safety regulations are adhered too.
• Liaison with Rig Foreman, Tool Pusher, Barge Captain, Rig Mechanic, Drill Crew, and others as required for the proper scheduling of repairs and maintenance work.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs that could be deemed outside the experience level of on-site Rig Electricians & Trainees. Making use of the troubleshooting and repair instances as opportunities to perform on-the-job training whenever possible.
• Complete on-site work permits, perform pre-job checks and assign maintenance and repair jobs to Rig Electricians as per their individual experience level.
• Perform post-job checks and testing of equipment after repairs.
• Perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual inspections and maintenance as set forth in the preventative maintenance program.
• Complete daily electrician's reports, equipment maintenance reports, and preventative maintenance reports, distribute as required.
• Order materials and supplies as required for implementing necessary repairs and maintaining an on-site stock level of expendables and critical spares.
• Teach SAUDI Drilling and Workover employees in accordance with the PM System.
• Teach and train electrical maintenance staff.
• Teach how to document current condition of equipment and/or sub-assemblies prior to commencing repairs.
• Teach how to inspect equipment and troubleshoot electrical, electromechanical and electronic systems.

• Coordinate in mobilization and demobilization of drilling equipment and personnel.
• Organizes tasks related to drilling equipment (maintenance, modifications, repairs, manufacture etc.).

• Maintain active role in identifying opportunities to improve QHSE system and where appropriate assist with the implementation of those improvements.
• Perform cyclical inventory of drilling tools/equipment at rig site.
• Prepare manifest for all equipment dispatched from the rig and coordinate for drilling equipment is back loaded timely.
• Participate in all meetings at the rig site and prepare minutes of meeting.
• Prepares periodic and special reports, studies and surveys as requested with related charts, graphs and other supporting data.
• Maintains and updates references files, manuals of policy and procedures, and technical publications pertinent to Division/Unit endeavor.
• Assists rig foreman regarding service contractors meet all contract requirements and shall verify and approve all company contractor and service company operations by way of tour reports and field tickets.
• Assists rig foreman about the service contractors maintain the rig and equipment adequately to maximize and equipment are properly utilized, handled and stored and report to company for any misuse by contractors of these materials and equipment.
• Reviews and accumulates accountability reports and costs and manpower, assists in developing justification for deviation from forecast and prepares reports and forecast as required.
• Handle the job with service contractors regarding scheduling, equipment, performance, HSE plans, etc.
