Job Description
My client is one of the leading installation contractors in the subsea Oil & Gas industry. They have an international presence with projects covering SURF, Pipelines, Subsea Structures and Mooring systems. My client presently has a requirement for an experienced Subsea Installation Engineer to take up the position of Discipline Leader. For the position candidates must have the following profile: * 10 years experience in the offshore Oil & Gas industry * Strong knowledge of subsea installations - SURF, rigid pipelines etc * Engineering Degree (Mechanical or Civil) * An understanding of subsea Design * Previous experience of working on international projects The Installation Engineering Discipline Leader will take responsibility for guiding the growth of the division through ensuring that services provided to clients meet the quality and safety requirements. Other main responsibilities of the role include: * Ensuring installation engineering resources are utilized efficiently and effectively * Implementing continuous improvement practices * Providing technical input to tendering * Guiding installation engineers * Carrying our performance appraisals * Providing technical integrity assurance * Reviewing and approving project analysis and procedures In return my client is able to offer the successful candidate a challenging opportunity to be part of an industry leading organization.
