Well Servicing Specialist Job - Earth Stream Jun 1st 2012, 04:57 Our Client - Is a leading E&P operator with projects worldwide with projects in the Middle East, United States, North Africa and Latin America and they are currently looking for a Well Services Specialist for Oman Job Description - The Well Servicing Specialist (WSS) will be responsible for the safe and efficient implementation of well servicing operations including managing the well servicing rig crew and routine maintenance of rig equipment. Managing the safety aspects of performing well servicing activity, including periodic audits of work processes, safety inspections of equipment, and maintenance of safety training program for rig crew members. Managing mobilization of the rig and equipment from well to well, the rig up/down process, proper well control selection and operation, and safe completion of the various tasks associated with well servicing activity. Documenting daily rig operations/tasks, tool box safety meetings and have adequate knowledge and a desire for continual process improvement. Actively participate in the RCFA (Rig Core Failure Analysis) process. Possess ability to effectively supervise more than one well services work unit in the field at the same time. Contribute to the development of SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) and revisions for additional SOP's for well services. Candidate Requirements (Education, background, experience, skills) - Diploma with at least 7 years of experience in well servicing (OR) Secondary School certificate with at least 9 years of experience in well servicing. Experience as a Rig Manager of a Well Service Rig. Demonstrated ability to manage well servicing safety program. Knowledge of well servicing best practices and standard operating procedures. Experience with ESPs, rod pump and progressive cavity pump artificial lift systems. Experience and knowledge of subsurface equipment and tools. Ability to document and report results and daily activities. Taken and passed Well Control certification course. Good in communication and interpersonal skills.
