NETWORK OPERATIONS EXPERT Job - Damian Dynamics Apr 4th 2012, 22:02 BASIC FUNCTION: Serve as the expert on matters pertaining to Network Installation, Network Maintenance and Operator Services. LOCATION: Projects available worldwide DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Using considerable latitude for independent judgment and initiative, provides advice on matters pertaining to: • Installation of fiber optic networks, integrated voice/data networks and various local area networks. • Maintenance procedures for organization-wide networks. • Organization of telephone operator services. • Provides in-depth technical support for the diagnosis and repair of designated organization owned telecommunications systems. • Establishes and maintains contact with vendors. As assigned, coordinates activities and supervises vendor support services. • Maintains inventory of spare parts needed to support the client as needed. • Analyzes operational aspects of assigned areas and prepares reports and recommendations for appropriate action. • Keeps abreast of trends and technical developments in the telecommunications field by self-study, participating in job-related seminars, courses or conferences, which enhance personal development and strengthen the user function.
