Experience in GCC is desirable. • Experience in preparing Resource Schedules / Design Schedules for medium to large size developments at design stage. • Well versed with developing Project Specific Programmes / Work Plans / Procedures / Methodologies. • Conversant with preparing detailed Executive Reports to be submitted to the management, and PowerPoint presentations on the Projects progress including planned vs. actual progress, approvals, payments, areas of concern, etc, as required. • Capable of forecasting the resources requirements for design and supervision projects including estimation of no. of various disciplines drawings for different types of design projects, man-power requirement / time requirement for design/supervision projects. • Experience in preparing Extension of Time Claims related to the Consultancy Services Agreements. • Familiarity in the use of different FIDIC modules such as Client-Consultant Consultancy Agreement, Sub-Consultancy Agreement, Conditions of Contract is desirable. • 'PMP' or other certification from a recognized international professional body is desirable. • Capable of using own initiative and pay close attention to detail. • Capable of coping with competing demands and to prioritize tasks, with effective time management skills. • Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation. • Study the requirements of the Request for Proposal (RFP)/Invitation to Tender (ITT)/Pre-qualification (PQ) Tenders/Expression of Interest (EoI), etc, related to Consultancy Services, and submit an Executive Summary to the management including scope of works, constraints, commercial/legal risk factors, review points, relevant drawings, etc, for their review, and for bid or no-bid decision. • Assist in preparation of clarification requests to the Client as required for RFPs/ITTs/PQs/EoIs. • Assist in preparation of comprehensive RFPs for Sub-Consultants in coordination with technical team. • Assist in preparation of response to clarification requests of the Clients and Sub-Consultants. • Assist in preparation of technical & commercial Consultancy Services Tender/Proposal ensuring adherence to company policy and submit to the management for review and sign off. • Assist in review the proposals of Sub-Consultants to advise the management on their technical/commercial suitability. • Assist in preparation/review the Contractual Documents including Consultancy Agreements, Sub-Consultancy Agreements, Non-Disclosure/Confidentiality Agreements, Work Orders to Sub-Consultants, LPOs, Reports, Tender Clarifications, and other Correspondence, as per company policy, prior to submission to relevant parties. Electrical Design Engineer Job - ARAB ENGINEERING BUREAU Jul 1st 2012, 12:44 Job Purpose • To prepare engineering drawings of projects based on design concepts from Electrical Design Engineer and lead a team of draftsmen. Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities • Designs all electrical systems including power, lighting, extra low voltage systems • Prepares all systems details such as schematics, calculations, schedules and connections details. • Co-ordinates for with other departments for all project stages including concept design, preliminary design, detail design and approval. • Prepares full specifications for all power and extra low voltage systems. • Follows-up with the updated requirements from departments for implementation. • Participates in project discussions with departments • Checks CAD drafting as and when required. • Supervises a team of Electrical Draftsmen. • Conducts sites visits and assessment, as required to execute design work. • Keeps records and documents for projects handled.
