Job Description
Muscat, Oman My client is a highly successful and well respected Construction Consultancy with operations throughout the MENA Region. They are looking for a Corporate Development Director to develop, coordinate and manage the overall business development strategy in Oman with a view to growing the existing company business lines and expand the business into new specialties. The successful Corporate Development Director will be based in Muscat, Oman and should be able to demonstrate experience in: *Growing business lines and delivering on measurable achievements of backlog growth, year-on-year. *Leading and seeking out new opportunities and new clients across all disciplines including identifying potential partners where appropriate. *Consolidating existing client relationships with the aim of securing repeat business. *Leading tenders or business initiatives and assisting other divisions by providing targeted strategic input during the preparation of pre-qualifications and tenders in order to increase win probabilities. *Well-developed communication skills including the ability to perform effectively in a team environment with a strong Client focus. *Planning, prioritizing, scheduling, and performing own work to meet identified time frames and standards. The Corporate Development Director should have the following qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering or a relevant discipline with a minimum of 15 years post graduate experience in the planning, architectural design, engineering or project management industry. Masters qualifications would be viewed favourably. Arabic communication skills are required of the Corporate Development Director.
