Instrument & Control Engineer - Netherlands Are you an Instrumentation & Control Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity with a leading company to progress? Do you want your potential to be recognised and to be rewarded for your ability? Our client seeks exceptional engineers to aid in the continued excellence and growth of the business. This is a role for an Instrumentation and Control Engineer from an oil & gas background looking for the next step in their career with an exceptional opportunity to advance their current abilities and experience. Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands Start date: Immediate Hourly rate: To be discussed upon application Contract duration: 12 months The Role *To take an active approach and carry out control & instrument engineering duties for oil and gas offshore projects *To carry out regular reviews of instrumented systems ensuring content / frequency are appropriate. *To ensure daily technical calculations are performed *To write, review and approve appropriate procedures and standards. *To proactively monitor and optimise the performance of process control schemes. *To keep up-to-date with latest technologies and reliability improvement techniques and to evaluate and make decisions. *To be responsible for the evaluation, development and implementation of project modifications within their abilities and resources. *To attend / hold project meetings to ensure all deadlines are being met and efficiency is maintained *Adhere to the regulatory requirements when setting up the facility *Testing, evaluating, modifying and calibrating products/instruments *Providing technical support The person *5 years of relevant experience in instrument and control engineering *Strong background in design *Software experience of Instrucalc and Smart plant *Hold an offshore safety training certificate *Ability to work well in a team and take a lead role when required. . *Display competence and use initiative *Strong knowledge and application *Be experienced within the oil & gas industry Please apply immediately.
