General Manager - Operations Job - Perma Pipe Middle East FZC Jun 20th 2012, 08:30 In this position you will manage day to day operations of a continuous process insulation and fabrication manufacturing unit. The position requires a strong manufacturing background as well as a strong technical background. Detailed knowledge of processing equipment, materials, set up, maintenance, pre start checks, processing parameters and troubleshooting methods will be required of the successful candidate. As GM, Manufacturing you will be responsible for all manufacturing operations including production, maintenance, production planning, stores and logistics. To succeed in this position you will be expected to recruit, develop and lead a multinational management team and workforce. The ideal candidate will have the following experience: • Factory management experience in a multinational environment • Extensive hands-on ERP experience • Experience with project based manufacturing for the construction industry and/or the oil & gas industry • Management and maintenance of the facility and processing equipment • Ensuring safety and managing production output, quality and cost to meet schedule requirements • Actively managing production processes by measurement, observation and adjustment of process control parameters • Observe discrete process and machine functions to ensure that process operation and quality attributes are maintained during production • Supply chain management including inventory management, material handling, storage and shipping • Production planning and scheduling • Plastics and Polyurethane insulation materials and processing • ASME B31 piping codes, piping and piping systems • Steel pipe welding and fabrication processes • Quality assurance / Quality control • Operating in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 / ISO 14001:2004 & OHSAS 18001:2007 Job Details Date Posted: 2012-06-20 Job Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia Job Role: Engineering Company Industry: Manufacturing and Production Monthly Salary: US $15,000 Preferred Candidate Career Level: Management Gender: Male Degree: Bachelor's degree / higher diploma Apply Now - Jobs in Saudi Arabia - Jobs in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia - Jobs in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - Search All Jobs
