FM Senior Operations Manager
Position Summary
Directs all maintenance operations for all FM Contracts. Designs, Implements and manages all aspects of routine maintenance at all locations including management of the physical plant, electrical delivery systems, medical gas delivery systems, emergency generators, and physical plant troubleshooting and project management.
Responsibilities
Develops operational objectives in support of regional and corporate goals and objectives.
1) Manages regulatory preparation, physical plant troubleshooting and project management.
2) Evaluates, locates and recommends equipment and systems for replacement or upgrades.
3) Provides direction and oversight for the development and implementation of an overall emergency management strategy for the hospital.
4) Acts as a liaison between the client and the local authorities and regulatory agencies including building code compliance.
5) Provides and applies practical knowledge regarding building maintenance, steam distribution systems, air conditioning and heating systems, building automatic control systems, water distribution, fire protection, sanitary and storm sewer operations, piped medical gases, electrical distribution and central utility plants for steam and chilled water.
6) Manages all location supervisors/managers with effective leadership Reviews and evaluates existing programs, services, policies and procedures and recommend actions.
7) Meets with liaison, medical administrative and supervisory staff as well as community groups, agencies, contractors, architects and engineers for executing programs.
8) Manages and insures compliance with JCI and other regulatory bodies.
9) Executes activities of the Technical Operations Department in accordance with client expectations, service requirements, and SODEXO goals and objectives.
10) Prepares and operates within an annual operating budget including energy saving Maintains records and completes and monitor financial reports to monitor.
11) Implements and ensures execution of SODEXO QMS and procedures, compiles data and reports to appropriate client departments, management and governmental agencies.
12) Develops and maintains structure and staffing schedules for effective execution of approved objectives. Directs training sessions to use all products and equipments..
13) Implements safety programs that teach equipment maintenance and accident prevention.
