Job Description Senior CAD Designer - Subsea Stavanger We are seeking Senior CAD Designer with a subsea background to join our clients CAD department in their Stavanger office. Job Description: Production deliverables *Production of 2D detailed fabrication drawings of steel structures using Inventor 2010 software *Production of 2D/3D storyboards / subsea installation sequences using Inventor & AutoCad 2010 software *Production of detailed lift rigging arrangements *Planning vessel deck layouts together with project engineers *Design / modeling of steel structures using 3D Inventor 2010 software Management and cooperation *Reports to Department Lead and Project Group Leader - CAD. *Cooperate with the other personnel in the Project CAD Group and other disciplines in the Project. *Plan own work in the Project. *Familiarize company and clients standards/procedures. *With a minimum of direction/information be able to do design engineering and prepare construction drawing, based on input from in-house structural engineers and according to existing rules and regulations. *Conduct self check on drawing/sketches. *Drafting checks on other work in the Project CAD group. *Give professional/technical support to other Designers in the CAD Group. *Follow-up of fabrication work in the workshop and on the vessels during mobilization when appropriate. Required qualifications: *Technical education. *4 - 6 years experience in design / engineering of steel structure / mechanical. *Experience from offshore industry. *Preferably experience from subsea engineering environment and/or offshore operations. *Experience from working with offshore field layouts, route planning, and vessel deck layouts is a bonus *Experience in the use of AutoCAD 2D CAD 2010 software. *Experience in the use of Inventor 3D CAD 2010 software. *Be able to work in a multi discipline environment is a bonus *Good communication skills in English, both verbally and written. *Proactive and a team player.
