Tyco Fire & Security is looking for a Project Engineer to join Tyco Qatar Fire & Security based in Doha, Qatar.

The successful candidate will assist project management in carrying out all medium-sized projects and should be able to :
• Ensure a project is fit-for-purpose and adheres to the project budget and schedule
• Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed
• Account for engineering tasks to ensure they meet contract requirements
• Develop project-specific procedures for the work to be carried out
• Attend site visits
• Submit weekly progress reports to the Sales Manager
• Interpret clients' requirements, identify and address design parameters and engineering problems, and ensure solutions are implemented
• Ensure all justifications for contractual variations during projects is maintained to support subsequent commercial claims
• Evaluate, organize and prioritize work within the overall project schedule
• Liaise and manage third party Contractors to ensure all equipment is fit-for-purpose
• Take responsibility for a team of Engineers and train / mentor Junior Engineers
• Be conversant with the Company Quality and HSE Policies and ensure they are observed and implemented
