They have established themselves in this market place and currently have numerous vessels on long term leases across the world. My client currently requires an Assistant QA/QC Manager to join them on an 18 - 24 month project. The role is to be based full time at the project site in China, therefore fluent Mandarin language skills are essential. Other key requirements for the role are: * Engineering degree * Lead Auditor Certified (ISO 9001:2008) * 10 years of experience in QA/QC and auditing * Familiar with HSE requirements * Previous experience with FPSO conversion projects In the position the main responsibilities will include: * Ensuring QA and QC policies are identified, developed and implemented * Acting as the focal point for liaison with venders, contractors and clients * Planning and executing project audits * Supervising quality team members * Carrying out inspection activities In return my client is willing to offer the successful candidate a competitive salary and benefits including a company bonus and accommodation at the project site.
