We are URGENTLY seeking an Operations Manager (Discipline Manager) with experience working on BOP systems in a PERMANENT office role to be based in Norway. Job Description Operations Manager (Drilling Contractor) - Norway My client is one of the leading offshore rig contractors in drilling and currently looking for an Operations Manager to be involved in new project operations. We are URGENTLY seeking an Operations Manager (Discipline Manager) with experience working on BOP systems in a PERMANENT office role to be based in Norway. YOU will effectively manage drilling operations, maintainance and enusring compliance in all key projects. Responsibilities: -Managing daily priorities and relating frequently to the Director of Operations Support -Execute technical change control process -Involved with follow up technolgy and regulatory development -Establishment and maintenance of management documents and preventive maintenance -Participation in investigations and audits in ensuring compliance with acceptable asset integrity and requirements -Establishment of operational and technical requirements -Verification of technical solutions and specifications for rig concepts, larger upgrades & modifications and relevant equipment -Maintain and develop technical content of frame agreements with vendors and specilaist consultants Requirements: -BSc in Engineering will be preferable but can consider relevant qualifications -12years+ relevant experience -Sound knowledge of BOP systems -Knowledge of rules and regulations in offshore operations -Operational and project experience -Good knowledge of operational equipment -Strong leadership qualities In return my client offers a highly competitive salary with interesting additional benefits with the opportunity to work on interesting projects.
