My client is looking for geophysicists with depth imaging experience to be based in LAM. For the successful applicant the role of depth imaging geophysicist will entail managing and administering seismic data processing projects to maximize production quantity and efficiency minimizing turnaround time and optimizing product quality. Essential Job Experience: Strong understanding of geophysical and geological principles Good knowledge of signal processing, demultiple and imaging Proven experience with QC seismic data, including 3D visualization and attribute analysis Previous depth imaging experience, including velocity model building Proven ability and experience in problem solving Good technical, communication, supervisory and administrative skills Qualifications: 3 years+ experience Education Requirements: Required: Bachelor's Degree gained at an accredited University/Institute Applicant Requirements: Develop and maintain good client relations Ensure all necessary testing is performed accurately and results are presented clearly Produce accurate forecasts and reports of project finances, status and resource requirements and provide these to the team manager Manage and be accountable for all group activities Design efficient processing sequences and testing flows Liaise closely with technical support groups involved in project tasks to ensure quality and turnaround targets are maintained Additional added beneficial skills Reputation for thoroughness, patience and organizational ability Some experience working in a multi-cultural environment is desirable Strong English/Spanish/Portuguese skills Salary/benefits and package There is an excellent salary and expat package on offer for the successful applicant.
