Job Description
URGENT ROLE - PIPING MATERIAL CONTROLLER - FRANCE - 1 YEAR RENEWABLE Leap29 are working with a large contractor who is in urgent need of a Piping Material Controller. The position requires working as part of a project team, under the direction of the piping design lead engineer for the duration of the project engineering. Responsibilities will include: *Control the piping components (pipe fittings, valves, special items) required for the company's project construction *Be accountable of the piping material take off (MTO) released for order *Be knowledgeable and conversant with the use of EPDS (Engineering Procurement & Decision System) software and NADIA (company corporate tool for supply chain activities) software *Be knowledgeable and conversant with the use of Process documents: Line list, PFDs & PIDs *Estimate piping materials from process PFDs *Transfer MTO to NADIA engineering lists *Update NADIA during entire project engineering phase *Report on any anomalies found or suspected using Process and Piping documents *Investigate and report on structural failures or underperformance on the company's products *Assist piping engineers to prepare valve list and piping special items list Unfortunately this position will be reserve for people who have the right to work in EU This opportunity is available for an immediate start, to hear more about this opportunity, please contact the contract team at Leap 29 or submit your CV using the apply now button
