QA QC Manager- Power Generation - Thailand (#761856658) Jun 11th 2012, 13:00 Posted: 11 June 2012 at 13:00   Expires: 09 July 2012 at 13:00 Posted In: Engineering > QA/QC Engineer Location: Thailand > Bangkok Job Description *QA/QC Manager - Power Generation - Thailand* My client is an international EPC contractor with a strong presence in Thailand and throughout South East Asia. Currently, they are involved with several large Combined Cycle power stations and they now require a QA/QC Manager to ensure that all Quality Programs are implemented and effective in satisfying the needs of the client. Role Requirements The QA/QC Manager, who will report directly to the Project Director, will be responsible for all aspects of Quality management on the project. This includes but is not limited to: *Review and approve proposed QA/QC systems for mechanical installations *Witness and review tests on materials/equipment on site *Attend site coordination meetings regularly, as well as the monthly progress review meeting *Prepare site progress reports both on a weekly and monthly basis *Inspect and enforce preventative health and safety measures to be taken *Cooperate in all activities with the Site team in accordance with the instructions of the Project Manager/Site Manager Education, Qualifications, & Experience *Minimum of 15 years experience within the Power Generation industry, ideally working for EPC contractors *BSc Mechanical Engineering or other relevant discipline *Previous international experience in Asia or Thailand specifically is advantageous In addition to these qualifications, the QA/QC Manager should have a confident and self-motivating personality, as well as the ability to easily liaise and communicate with colleagues and superiors. You should have strong interpersonal skills and be able to relate to and communicate with all members of the team on the project.
