Subsea Structures Engineer - Stavanger

Role of the Subsea Structures Engineer:

*Through follow-up and supervision of the engineering contractor, assure that the subsea structure design is fit for purpose, within the set timeframe and within budget.
*Ensure that engineering studies comply with Norwegian rules and regulations, company HSE and QA/QC requirements

Key Requirements


Specific duties of the Subsea Structures Engineer include:

*To ensure that Subsea structures are designed in accordance to statutory regulations and guidelines and general Specifications.
*To control and validate scope of work for the subsea structure discipline in Detail engineering
*Co-ordinate the structural analysis including development of the 3D model.
*To prepare the documentation necessary to implement modification requests
*To prepare and develop derogation requests.
*To participate in evaluation of CFT documents for SURF EPCIC.
* To prepare input to the weekly report for the mechanical and piping discipline.

Required experience for the subsea structures engineering role:
*Structural/mechanical Engineer with significant experience in subsea structure design and calculations in the North Sea and familiar with NORSOK requirements.
*Experience with calculation programs (SESAM, USFOS, STAADPro, ....), ability to evaluate modeling and calculation results.
