Specialist Planning Power Transmission Job - Marafiq Jun 26th 2012, 08:56 Study, review and develop conceptual plans and scope of works for providing electric power to meet customer demands based on optimal factors of power system capacity and utilization factors. (Job impacts all equipment involved in the process of electric power transmission - from the generating plant to the Distribution System and or to the bulk supply customer's end). The position reports to Superintendent, Power Planning. The jobholder is primarily responsible to study, review and develop conceptual plans and scopes of work for providing electric power to new customers and/or existing customers seeking expansion. The jobholder is challenged to determine the optimal balance between capacity and utilization of equipment. He is also charged with developing optimal designs for developing effective power tie-in points in the designated areas.
