Assist the Sr. Reliability Engineer in providing plant Reliability Engineering guidance and support to maintenance Department, preventive and risk management, maintenance forecasting process to improve reliability and reduce costs. Act as the focal point and main facilitator of the reliability centred maintenance management system. Ascertain the technical efficiency and operational effectiveness and performance of the plant, adequacy of controls and compliance with company policies and procedures, both internally and through contractors, in order to meet the company's business objectives


This position reports to the Senior Engineer, Efficiency. The jobholder is responsible for ensuring that all Reliability Engineering activities are properly maintained at all times and operates to protect feeders against abrupt and/or abnormal faults and failures. Currently, availability of qualified manpower presents a serious challenge to effective Reliability Engineering. The jobholder is also challenged to keep abreast of technological developments and innovations in this field of specialization and recommend deployment of suitable upgrades to the company's Reliability Engineering.
