Mining Engineering Superintendent-Open Pit Gold Mine Location: NSW, Australia My client is a global top tier mining operator specialise in gold and copper. This is an exciting opportunity for a mining engineering superintendent to lead their Mine Engineering Department. You will need to provide short and long term guidance on geotechnical, drilling and blasting parameters, survey and dispatch. Responsibilities also include delivery of timely and accurate capital and operating budgets, regular forecasts and accruals, as well as mentor, coach and lead a team of engineers and technical staff. To be qualified for the position, you should possess: *Relevant qualifications in mining engineering, geology or similar discipline. *Extensive experience in an open pit mining environment with proven experience in an operational supervisory role. *Strong technical knowledge and mining background in planning, scheduling and drill and blast utilising truck and shovel methods. *Excellent communication and strong leadership skills. *Ability to implement and communicate plans.
