Maintenance Engineer for Fiber Network Job - Saudi Sysel for Integrated Telecommunication Apr 29th 2012, 10:21 Maintenance engineer for Fiber Optic Network using Cisco optical solutions .Responsible for the testing & commissioning of the SDH/DWDM Networks using Cisco tools CTC and JDSU equipments. Testing & commissioning & managing for Cisco ONS equipments duties included configuration : 1. Cisco ONS 15454 SDH 2. Cisco ONS 15454 DWDM 3. Cisco ONS 15600 (DXC - cross connect) 4. RTU (Remote Time Unit). 5. SSU (Synchronization Supply Unit) & Cesium unit. 6. Key mile UMUX (1500, 1200, 900). • Implementing and managing team for Installation and fiber testing (Power-meter, OTDR, PMD, CD, & AP) and result analysis to validate Acceptance criteria. -Fiber cables termination, Splicing (Mechanical, Fusion), Fiber Testing (Power-meter, OTDR, PMD, CD, and AP), analyzing and report creation.
