Responsible for compliance to all Factory policies and procedures.
Plans production operations and materials, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
Structures the production operations in order to meet production schedules
Provides technology leadership and world class manufacturing strategies and initiatives for the factory.
Prepare, agree, and effectively manage the allocated portion of annual budget for operational spends.
Develops and Directs continuous improvement plans, working with other relevant departments. This will include revised maintenance strategies, improved training, and planning.
Responsibilities include the organizing and directing of the direct labor work force, new product evaluation/implementation, provides existing product support, departmental budgeting, leads continuous improvement activities, cost saving initiatives, manufacturing lead time reduction, process instruction, process training and process assurance for all manufacturing processes.
Manages the factory operations to meet all production requirements; Develops and implements operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality.
Assures products meet all specifications, ensures their compliance to process requirements and are made according to Factory procedures and standards.
Assures personnel have necessary knowledge (training), equipment and access to materials and information necessary to perform their jobs.
Directs the machines assembly and packing of the parts/products made to meet all quality, processing and engineering standards; this includes the training and instructions of personnel in order to meet their requirements.
Consults with engineering personnel relative to modification of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products.
Assures that the production processes are in compliance with acceptable safety regulations.
Develops, improves and administers existing products and processes; Improves equipment, procedures, instruction and tooling in support of continuous improvement activities as related to cost, quality and lead time improvements.
Manages and develops Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all areas of performance, and drive continuous improvement throughout operations.
Manages and challenges all production standards to ensure scrap factors, throughputs and efficiencies are maintained. Manage poor performance and put in place corrective actions to resolve.
Prepares and delivers profit improvement plans for operations.
