Key Tasks & Duties:
• Provide support to other ZAPIA operational departments
• Provide guidance on electrical system standards and design for application across all activities and AWPR sites
• Provide technical supervision for all electrical, equipment Including but not limited to:- lighting, fixtures and fittings, circuitry, distribution panels, switchgear, high and low voltage systems, fire /security protection and detection systems, access control systems, stand by generators (fixed and mobile) and uninterruptible power systems (UPS).
• Develop and implement PPM programme as a result of the asset inventory, Operation and Maintenance Manuals, maintenance contracts and legislative requirements.
• Develop the database for the planned maintenance regime by including all sites information, contractors contracts, health and safety information databases.
• Maintain records for all reactive and PPM works completed by the caretaking team and contractors.
• Prepare, monitor and report on all planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) for all electrical systems
• Prepare, monitor and report on all planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) for specialised systems Including but not limited to:- Fire Fighting and Alarm Systems, Lifts, UPS, Generators, Access Control, CCTV, BMS.
• Review and approve all installation and maintenance/work records detailing all activities carried out on site to include but not limited to drawings, O&Ms, Reports, Task sheets, Completion certificates, Accident and Incident Reports etc.
• Manages reports and electrical related data for sites including maintenance, technical data, contract costs, compliance documentation for inspection and against established benchmarks.
• Respond to reactive and emergency electrical issues reported to the Department.
• Ensure organisational QA/QC and health and safety procedures are followed site wide and for each project.
• Prepare and complete performance appraisals of all service provider services to meet AWPR core business needs.
• Ensure AWPR environment and sustainability objectives are met within the designated areas through the delivery and management of facilities management services.

• Prepare various technical and general reports for FM Manager
