CAD Technician Job - Al Ain Wildlife Park & Resort May 8th 2012, 07:32 Key Tasks & Duties:  Carry out field surveys and measurements using Land surveying techniques to collect site, building and facility measurement data for upload into appropriate CAD outputs.  Carry out checks for all drawings/graphical data received and forward to the Department's Document Controller for logging on the central database; including and not limited to Sketches, Shop and As built drawings for standard industry compliance  Prepares in AutoCAD all detailed drawings as required by the team.  Update and maintain all drawing references for AWPR facilities  Prepare, update and maintain all drawing versions and document referencing protocol.  Maintains the continuous operation of all software, hardware, peripherals and consumables associated with the production of CAD data.  Attend assigned meetings as required.  Keep up to date of professional developments, new software updates, techniques, and current issues through continued education and professional growth.  Prepare various reports as required.  Ensure organisational QA/QC and health and safety procedures are followed site wide and for all work.
