Leap29 is presenting an excellent career opportunity for a G&G Section Head to join a growing workforce. As G&G Section head your role will involve leading and coordinating the activities of the G&G Section, a team of multi- disciplinary petroleum development staff, and delivery of an optimal and economic development strategy to exploit hydrocarbon reserves. Essential Job Experience: 10+ years broad experience in oil field development covering production operations and reservoir management, including 5 years in a senior supervisory position Supervise all G&G staff Ensure the development and maintenance of the drilling/workover schedule Plan and supervise the activities of assigned employees in the G&G section Supervise the development, formulation and delivery of an integrated field development strategy Ensure quality control of all field development Qualifications: 10+ years experience Including 5 years experience in Petrophysical Engineering Education Requirements: Minimum BSc in Petroleum Engineering, Geology or similar subject Applicant Requirements: Coordinate the acquisition, analysis and interpretation of structural, stratigraphic, seismic and reservoir geological data Coordinate the preparation for budget proposals Participate in the preparation of annual drilling objectives Oversee the development of technical proposals Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with the companies HSE policy Ensure Sections database is kept up-to-date.
