Senior Electrical Engineer Job May 28th 2012, 14:37 • Management of subcontractors and contract administration. • Production of electrical shop and execution drawings based on design drawings and specifications, and based on manufacturer requirements. • Preparation of value engineering exercises to optimize system performance and generate cost savings. • Preparation of electrical material submittals, based on project specifications, and negotiation of offers. • Procurement of materials required for construction. • Management of subcontractors and contract administration. • Responsible for representing the company at a technical level and providing the technical support needed to assist others in taking contractual decisions. • Responsible for following up and tracking progress of works in conjunction with project planning. • Responsible for performing quality control actions and filtering on all documents and queries raised by subcontractors prior to forwarding to the consultant.
