Contract Admin (Bahrain) Job May 7th 2012, 12:31 * Advanced knowledge of contract law and its application in construction is required. * Provide leadership for the contracts administration, compliance and database function including FIDIC, Qatar Modified conditions of Contracts, etc. * Organize, maintain and electronically track all contracts, claims, variation orders, etc. and related documents. * Provide advice on contractual matters affecting the following: * Assessment of Entitlement to liquidated and ascertained damages * Opinion on delays and/or disruptions and requests for extensions of time * Consequences of acceleration * Assessment of the amount of loss and expense or other such matters and if instructed carrying out negotiations with contractors to reach a settlement * Coordination of communications, approvals, notifications, and record- keeping relative to changes in the Work.
