Site Engineer Job Mar 27th 2012, 11:49 - CRITICAL AND RISK ISSUES IN CONTRACT: Recognize risks & critical items. - SPECIFICATIONS: Reviews the Section Engineer analysis. - DESIGN DRAWINGS & DESIGN UPDATES / VARIATIONS: Reviews the Section Engineer analysis. - BILL OF QUANTITIES: Assist Section Engineer in his duties; Receive & study Section Engineer analysis; Further develop as necessary; Verify quantities and coordinate same with Quantity Surveyor. - SAFETY POLICY & PROCEDURES: Implement safety instructions and provisions; Attend related safety meetings. - MOBILIZATION, SITE INSTALLATION &TEMPORARY SERVICES & SITE APPEARANCE & SIGNAGE : Collaborate in providing needed set up for his area; Implement within set time & policies; Recommend changes; Follow up implementation & take measures for correction. - LAND SURVEYING: Verify field work; Jointly check with surveyor; Report discrepancies; Propose corrections & implement. - EXECUTION STRATEGY & METHOD STATEMENT: Review and implement method statements - SHOP DRAWINGS/ AS BUILT DRAWINGS: Assist Section Engineer. - CLAIMS & VARIATIONS: Assist Section Engineer in his duties.. - PLANT & EQUIPMENT: Optimum use of plant & equipment; Report problems; Produce report on idle vs. working time (including breakages).
