Quantity Surveyor Job Jul 2nd 2012, 11:44 • Adequate knowledge in Quantity surveying and cost/financial reporting • Good knowledge of MS office applications with other quantity surveying software packages would be ideal • Work experience with a contractor in civil infrastructures projects, building or E&M • Initiate budgets and forecasts for the project • Measurement of all drawings and works and agreement with client representative • Preparation of monthly subcontract payment certificates • Compile monthly payment applications, monitor payments and chase cash • Ensure measurement, variations and final accounts are properly managed and are as agreed with the clients authorized representative and with own subcontractors. • Attend meeting with subcontractors, consultants or clients as may be required to ensure that the company's interests are protected. • Initiate the financial/cost reporting in conjunction with the project managers and monitor targets as set out in the forecasts. • Ensure effective implementation of the commercial procedures on projects as per the company integrated management system in order for it to achieve its ISO requirements Job Details Date Posted: 2012-07-02 Job Location: Al Jahra, Kuwait Job Role: Engineering Company Industry: Quantity Survey; Construction/Civil Engineering Preferred Candidate Career Level: Mid Career Gender: Male Degree: Certification / diploma Apply Now - Jobs in Kuwait - Search All Jobs
