Leap 29 -Piping Engineer- Gas project - 12 months contract - Immediate Start Leap29 is working in conjunction with an International energy company. They are currently recruiting for the position of Piping Engineer, based in Paris The suitable consultant will have previous experiences working in oil & gas industry. He will be mainly responsible for establishing the facilities piping and mechanical specifications, writing up and developing standards, procedures. To meet the above responsibilities it is anticipated that the following services will be managed by the Mechanical engineer: *Piping and mechanical engineering specifications including P&IDs, line classes, detailed piping component, purchase descriptions and fabrications specifications, *Mechanical materials engineering support for pressure piping systems, *Vendor and engineering contractor liaison and management when required *Monitor piping and mechanical and HSSE codes and code compliance within Projects *Perform technical evaluations on Piping and Mechanical equipment as required The suitable consultant with have at least 3 years experience . A good knowledge of oil and gas industry standards and French codes specifically CODAP.
