The client I am representing for this position is a successful international company in the oil and gas sector and they currently have an excellent opening for candidates from a Data Processing / Geophysics background to take on a business development and sales position. The key duties for this role will include helping to seek new business opportunities and to expand operations in order to achieve annual finance targets and increase monthly turnover. Essential Job Experience: Strong knowledge of seismic data processing Geophysicist background Proven sales experience Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience is preferable for this position Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree gained at an accredited University. Applicant Requirements: Ability to develop and recommend new marketing initiatives Capable of establishing and maintaining strong client relationships Ensure sufficient sales to at least meet budgeted targets Role Requirements: Successfully contribute to the seismic processing sales procedure Ensure bids and proposals are sent out in a timely manner Coordinate with the marketing department on a regular basis Compile and provide all necessary information for all technical and financial bids Effectively follow up all ongoing projects Maintain comprehensive records on competitor companies in relevant markets Provide monthly reports for all projects Present case studies, data examples and articles for press release International travel within the European market will be required Additional added beneficial skills Strong team player Positive attitude Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work efficiently Creativity, initiative and ability to work under pressure Understanding of product and service technologies Some experience working in a multi-cultural environment is desirable Candidate will be fluent in English and possess excellent written and oral communication skills Salary/benefits and package: There is a competitive salary package on offer for this position and a chance to work for a company with fantastic career opportunities within the Oil and Gas sector.
