This client is currently looking to hire for this position due to growing business needs. The role involves providing systems, software and operations support for Data Processing Systems based in the company's Houston Data Centre. The other main responsibilities for the position include: *Providing contributions to the planning of new centres and upgrades *Installation and support of both hardware and software in Data Processing Centres *Monitor system performance and ensure that systems are available to users within acceptable targets *Supervision of junior colleagues Essential Job Experience: *Experience of working in High Performance Computing (HPC) *Relevant professional Linux and Windows Operating Systems proficiency *Practical system administration support experience *Extensive IT hardware knowledge Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience is preferable for this position Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in related IT field. Equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
