Job Description
We are looking at recruiting an experienced crane service engineer (x3) for possible work/relocation to Houston, Texas, USA (the client takes care of the visa arrangements) SENIOR CRANE / HYDRAULIC ENGINEER (TECHNICIAN / MECHANIC) Location: Houston, US Type: permanent 40h a week Responsibilities: - Carry out commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, inspection and servicing of clients pedestal cranes and lifting equipment, onshore and offshore, US and international. - Carry out repairs and inspection on a range of client hydraulic, mechanical and electrical equipment and systems, onshore and offshore. - Assist with spares identification and procurement. - Document all services carried out both written and IT. Ideal candidates: - 5+ years' experience in similar environment working on Vessel and Offshore cranes. - Experienced in crane hydraulic, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair. - Excellent communication skills, Multi-lingual candidates highly regarded Physical requirements: - Frequent bending, stooping or crouching, move up and down stairs, steps or ladders - Work at heights above 6 feet. Experience: Looking for experience on the following crane manufacturers and equipment types: Liebherr, National Oilwell Varco (NOV), Neuenfelder Maschinenfabrik GmbH (NMF), CargoTech (MACGREGOR), HYDRALIFT, Tsuji Client: Worldwide supplier of ship cranes, offshore cranes and mobile cranes with eight international offices. Headquarter based in Texas, US.
