This is a 12 month contract on an exciting Norwegian NEW FIELD DEVELOPMENT project. Key Requirements Required Experience: 7 years floating drilling rig and subsea completion experience Required knowledge, technical or professional skills: Technical knowledge of subsea equipment (pressure containing quipment, running tools, workover control systems and manifold systems) Operational knowledge related to drilling and well completion. Job Description Leap29 have the opportunity to join a major operator client in Stavanger as a SENIOR SUBSEA SUPERVISOR/ SUBSEA ENGINEER. This is a 12 month contract on an exciting Norwegian project. Job Purpose Manage and lead contractor's subsea personell to ensure proper preparation and installation of subsea equipment Main Accountabilities and Responsibility Ensure proper planning, preparation and installation of equipment according to program and procedure. Assure that all parts of the work is being performed with a high focus on HSE to avoid personnel injuries and damage to material and environment. Main Tasks Manage, plan and co-ordinate the work according to approved programmes and procedures Verify that activities are carried out in such a manner that they safeguard the health, safety and integrity of all personnel Report all accidents or situations of potential hazard Supervise and monitor the work performed by the rig, ROV contractor and subsea contractor(s) personnel during the day and night shifts Ensure sufficient supervision during all critical operations Undertake daily morning report calls to shore Prepare the daily subsea report Prepare all reports required for data archive Prepare Feed-Back reports Report variations and deviations Accept/approve contractors' work documentation on a daily basis Request equipment, materials and services to the rig in a timely manner according to the approved contracts, and verified checklists Initiate Lesson Learned process Main Internal Relationship Projects department and Well operation department Main External Relationship Mainly Drilling and completion contractors, ROV contractors and subsea equipment suppliers. Requirements Formal Education: Master/Bachelor. Sc. in Engineering (Mechanical, Marine, Civil, Process, Electrical, Petroleum). **Relevant experince can replace lack of formal education** Training/Courses/ Certificate: Offshore survival course - OLF Languages: Fluent in spoken and written English Required Experience: 7 years floating drilling rig and subsea completion experience Required knowledge, technical or professional skills: Technical knowledge of subsea equipment (pressure containing quipment, running tools, workover control systems and manifold systems) Operational knowledge related to drilling and well completion.
