Environmental Specialist Job Jun 20th 2012, 08:30 * Identify potential risks associated with engineering services activities. * Assist in the development of measures to help mitigate the identified risks. * Ensure that all relevant personnel receive training in OEMP procedures and that all environmental measures developed to mitigate or minimize risk are implemented. * Environmental monitoring to ensure that the management practices adopted by the organization are effective. * Ensure all mitigation measures and management plans are implemented. * Ensure the OEMP is developed, implemented and remains current. * Undertake regular reviews of the OEMP. * Reviewing contractors HSE management plans and ensuring compliance with the OEMP. * Ensure appropriate resources are available to implement the OEMP. * Maintaining records, including training, waste disposal receipts and environmental monitoring results.
