****HIRING NOW - Field Expeditor - 6 months Contract - South of France **** Leap29 is working in conjunction with a reputable engineering consultancy that is looking for a Field Expeditor to join the team on a residential contract based in South of France. As Field Expeditor your main responsibilities will be to ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment Equipment will include - Piping, Valve and Pump Responsibilities Involve: *Contacts suppliers to obtain delivery schedules and to follow-up on material acquisition, production progress and shipment. *Review of Quality documents (supplier's procedure, quality plan) *Review of suppliers' final documentation and certificates *Field Expediting *Reviews material receiving reports against shipping documents to verify that material has been received at jobsite. * Assists in tracing missing material. *Compiles data needed to prepare the critical items reports or other supplementary reports as required. *Coordinates the accumulation of data from project expediters and issues reports for the expediting group. The relevant consultant will have 5 years experiences in the Oil and Gas industry It will be necessary for the Field Expeditor to have previous experiences in Inspection, Knowledge in material fabrication will be an advantage. All applicants will be considered that have the right to work in the EU. The ability to speak French will be an advantage.
