Detailer's / Draftsman's Job Jun 25th 2012, 09:56 A leading Steel Structure company in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking employment for Detailers/Draftsman's for applicants based in United Arab Emirates with structural steel industry experience. This role will provide exposure to a wide range of business processes and plenty of opportunity for development for the right candidate. • Draft and detail complex steel structure 2D elements using Tekla software and 3D models according to the specifications and standard practices. • Modeling and detailing of connections for both main members and miscellaneous of structures. • Verify dimension correctness and/or identify any interference between elements. • Provide technical support in design drawings with clients' specifications in order to conform to their standards and design data. • Interface with engineers and vendors to facilitate best methods and practices for fabrication. • Translates design intent and prepares fabrication drawing and bill of materials from working drawings and given standard instructions.
