Our client are currently working on a numnber of projecst for high profile clients and need the assistance of a Pre-Commissioning Project Engineer- with experience of pipeline and umbilical pre-commissioning. Key Requirements Pre-commissioning of umbilicals and pipeline. Job Description Leap29 are working with a leading provider of subsea pre-commissioning services, with offices in Stavanger, Norway. Our client are currently working on a numnber of projecst for high profile clients and need the assistance of a Pre-Commissioning Project Engineer- with experience of pipeline and umbilical pre-commissioning. This contract is available for 12 months with likely extension. 1.Reporting: Project Engineer reports to Project Manager. 2.Responsibility and jurisdiction: a)Project Engineer is responsible for the preparation of operational procedures during the engineering phases. b)Project Engineer is responsible for the direct control of all onshore engineering support activities, effective project completion and initiating any contingency procedures that may be required during offshore works. c)Project Engineer is responsible for ensuring routines for procedures and the QHSE system are implemented and adhered to. d)Project Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the operational requirements are met. e)Project Engineer is responsible for control of the preparation and production of project procedures, ensuring that the implementation of procedures by nominated representatives; and that any data gathered is in an accurate format for later submission to the Contractor. f)Project Engineer shall be included on all correspondence related to the project. g)Project Engineer shall have control of site establishment and ensure that equipment and plans are fit for purpose. h)Project Engineer is responsible for ensuring operational directives are completed. i)Project Engineer is responsible for ensuring that full records of operations are generated, maintained and compiled for submission after completed operations. j)Project Engineer comments operational procedures and attends HAZOP Apply for this oil and gas job
