Job Description
**Senior/Principal Hydrogeologist, Global Consultancy, Denver, Colorado - USA** My client is a leading global mining consultancy and has over 40 offices worldwide. As part of the growth of their hydrogeology team in Denver, USA they are looking for a Senior and Principal level Hydrogeologist to consult on projects for North America. Assignments will include design, management, and implementation of mine-dewatering and mining-environmental investigations. The position will require travelling to locations that may be varied climates and will involve working around surface and underground mines. The key requirements for this role include: *A minimum of a bachelor's degree in hydrogeology or a related field such as geology, hydrology, hydrogeochemistry, or environmental engineering, with a strong emphasis in groundwater. *Extensive work experience in hydrogeology. Experience at or around mine sites would be a very strong plus. A PhD in a relevant discipline would be highly regarded. *Confidence applying database, geological-modeling, geochemical-modeling, and/or GIS software. Experience with numerical groundwater-flow and transport models would be an advantage. *Knowledge of permitting and environmental requirements for drilling and construction projects is essential *Excellent project management and leadership skills with proven experience managing staff and contractors This role offers a highly competitive salary with excellent package benefits such as extended medical care, excellent bonus scheme and shareholding incentives.
