- Develop, establish and maintain Quality Assurance programs, policies, processes, procedures and controls ensuring that performance and quality of products conform to establish standards and to OOK Business and Customer requirements
- Prepares (where applicable), maintains and reviews procurement quality assurance procedures to assure compliance with customer and/or business requirements.
- Initiates formal investigations when defective materials are identified, including review and analysis of corrective action reports. Leads formal investigations to determine the root cause(s) of nonconforming products, materials or services.
- Ensures that corrective/preventive action, and root cause analysis is effective, and that adequate nonconforming material control documentation and records are maintained.
- Provide appropriate metrics to support business reviews and assessments of the overall health of the client's program.
- Initiate and support continuous improvement activities.
- Define, implement and continuously monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the capability and accuracy of processes, equipment and products.
- Plan, organize, direct and report on all supplier quality-related activities to assure fulfillment of contract/purchase order requirements.
- Assures that customer quality-imposed requirements are adhered to, and that an appropriate Quality System is maintained at all Program suppliers.
Coordinates/leads assessments/audits of suppliers to ensure compliance to all customer and company requirements.
