Mechanical supervisor Job May 20th 2012, 11:04 • Should have hands-on experience in trouble shooting, maintenance, repair and commissioning of HT/LT/DC rotating equipments. • Provide technical advice and guidance to workmen. • Schedule the manpower and prepare bar charts for individual jobs. • Co-ordinate with planning, procurement and marketing department for the effective execution of jobs as scheduled. • Co-ordinate with customer as and when required. • Attend customer sites for providing site services. • Monitor material & manpower utilization. • Co-ordinate with subordinate staff, workmen for providing technical assistance when required • Co-ordinate with Dept. Manager for day to day Work activities • Impart technical training time to time to subordinates to develop their skills. • Identify the highly productive workman and recommend for rewards. • Identity the un-productive and undisciplined subordinates and initiate disciplinary action.
