Mechanical Engineer Job - Al Ain Wildlife Park & Resort May 8th 2012, 07:32 Key Tasks & Duties: • Provide guidance on mechanical system standards and design for application across all activities and ZAPIA sites • Provide technical supervision for the operation, maintenance, removal and installation of all mechanical systems, Including but not limited to:- Split, Central, Air Handling units, mechanical pumps and fans and ventilating equipment associated ducts and associated controls. • Develop and implement PPM programme as a result of the asset inventory, maintenance contracts and legislative requirements. • Develop the database for the planned maintenance regime by including all sites information, contractors' contracts, and health and safety information databases. • Maintain records for all reactive and PPM works completed by the caretaking team and contractors. • Prepare, monitor and report on all planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) for all mechanical systems. • Inspect, review and approve all installation and maintenance/work records detailing all activities carried out on site to include but not limited to drawings, O&Ms, Reports, Task sheets, Completion certificates, Accident and Incident Reports etc. • Prepare and maintain all mechanical related data for sites including maintenance, technical data, contract costs, compliance documentation for inspection and against established benchmarks. • Respond to reactive and emergency electrical issues reported to the Department. • Ensure organisational QA/QC and health and safety procedures are followed site wide and for each project. • Prepare and complete performance appraisals of all service provider services to meet ZAPIA core business needs. • Ensure ZAPIA environment and sustainability objectives are met within the designated areas through the delivery and management of facilities management services. • Ensure organisational QA/QC and environmental health and safety procedures are followed site wide and for each project. • Prepare various technical and general reports for FM Manager Job Details Date Posted: 2012-05-08 Job Location: Al Ain, United Arab Emirates Job Role: Engineering Company Industry: Government Sector Preferred Candidate Career Level: Mid Career Degree: Bachelor's degree / higher diploma Apply Now - Jobs in UAE - Jobs in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates - Jobs in Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Search All Jobs
