Job Description
Leap29 are looking for a TIE-IN PROJECT ENGINEER with pre-commissioning experience for a 6 month contract with our Norwegian operator client. Job Purpose: Assit with the offshore execution and following-up of relevant areas of the EPCI contract such as RFO (Pre-commissioning) / UMB Testing / Light Construction / Tie-in works. Ensure that HSE and quality issues are handled in a systematic and professional way. Ensure that the offshore operations are planned and executed safely and according to approved procedures. Main Tasks: Ensure all HAZID and HAZOP actions have been addressed prior to performing works. Ensure that internal and external interfaces are being handled as per project regulations and Site Representative Manual with special emphasise on issues related to execution of the RFO (Pre-commissioning) / UMB Testing / Light Construction / Tie-in works activities. Ensure that change requests, site queries and deviation requests are being processed according to project regulations. Main Internal Relationship: Assist with interface with SPS contractor related to tie-in equipment and srevices and towards the Installation / Commissioning group and Operations as regards RFO of flowlines and risers Main External Relationship: Special focus on the interface between SPS contractor as regards tie-in equipment. Special focus on follow-up of the RFO subcontractor. Requirements Formal Education: Mechanical Engineering degree or 10 years relevant experience. Training/Courses/Certificate: Offshore safety course.
