URGENT! SITE MANAGER - Coal Fired Power Plant - Indonesia Leap29 are seeking a Site Manager to join a global engineering consultancy, who is the Owner's Engineer for their client on a major coal fired power plant project in Indonesia. The project is the construction of 2 x 150MW Coal Fired Power Plant and is part of a number of new power projects within the region, in order to cope with the increasing demand for power. As Site Manager/Owner's Engineer, you will be responsible for providing guidance to the client on the management of the project and assisting them in day to day project execution issues. You will be the lead person on site and have responsibility for all onsite activities. As the Site Manager your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to; *Leading weekly, monthly site coordination and progress meetings, reviews and approves EPC contractor claims for progress. *Lead the owner's site management team, reviewing and approving the construction execution plan, reviews and refine the plan as the project progresses. *Coordination of the overall field effort including erection activities, suppliers, contractors, start up and testing activities *Recommend appropriate action to maintain the project plan. *Ensure site staff adheres to the safety and quality standards as applicable to duties and accountabilities My client is looking for an experienced power generation professional with 15-20 years' experience in major power plant construction, preferably coal. You will have a proven and progressive career background with at least 8-10 years in a senior construction or project site/field management role. Strong communication skills are required for this client facing role, both up and down the chain of command. You will be required to operate in an inclusive and collaborative manner, taking the lead at solving problems and be an excellent man manager.
