Senior Project HSE Engineer - Operating Company - Malaysia A leading Operating Company in Malaysia is currently looking for an experience HSE professional to join their development team in Kuala Lumpur. The role is a Senior Project HSE Engineer where the focus will be to promote, support and execute the implementation of HSE policies for their offshore facilities. Duties will include the following: * Supporting HSE Manager during operations * Ensuring that HSE policies and procedures are followed at all times * Contributing to design reviews * Work towards a zero accident / incident framework * Participate in Hazard & Effect Management process * Conduct HSE reviews and audits For this position my client requires a candidate that has a Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. On top of this any formal HSE certificates would be an advantage. For the last 20 years candidates should have worked in a HSE related role with a minimum of 3 years experience in Process / Technical Safety. In your experience you should have worked with an operating company in Malaysia and will also preferably have international experience. Other key requirements include: * Competent in Design, fabrication, pre-commissioning, installation, HUC, start-up and operations * Experience with process safety detailed design * Knowledge of relevant engineering codes, standards and practices * Ability to work in a culturally diverse team In return my client offers the Senior Project HSE Engineer a 2 year direct hire position with a view to extend depending on project progress.
