Sr. Instrument and Control Engineer Job - Al Mansoor Enterprises L.L.C. Jun 7th 2012, 11:44 Contract Hire Oil and Gas Industry Minimum Requirement: B.Sc certificate in electronics / telecommunications. 3-4 years experience on ABB DCS, background in an Oil & Gas Industry on interface protocols. Role: To provide expert technical support and assume prime responsibility for maintaining the DCS system, including hardware and software. To coordinate with other divisions/departments and vendors for all ongoing projects. To carry out root cause analysis and investigation into system problems and failures. To review the DCS hardware spares inventory and coordinate supply with the materials department. To ensure implementation of competency based Training & Development programs, through use of Personal Development Plans (PDP's) and UAE Nationalization directives. Assist and provide technical support to users in all Process automation systems such as SCADA, ESD, Fire & Gas and all interface systems to the DCS. To monitor the Performance of Alarm Management System (AMS) and continuously update the plant model parameters. Age: 28-50 years Language: Good knowledge of English.
