Quantity Surveyor Job Jun 11th 2012, 09:47 • Assist Contract administration from pretender stage till award including review of documents, commercial evaluation, negotiations, post tender correspondences, recommendations etc, . • Assist Post contract cost management, by Providing accurate information relating to the status of all aspects of the post contract, procedural matters like contractual variations, payment certifications etc, . Provide support to project staff as and when required in a Professional and timely manner. • Prepare and evaluate responses to contractor pre-qualifications. • Prepare and ensure the completeness of tender documents for assigned packages. • Prepare package scope of work for assigned packages and manage the issuance of tender addendum. • Review bills of quantities & tender documents associated with Civil, Mechanical, Architectural and Finishes works for the project. • Prepare budget cost estimates for Civil, Mechanical, Architectural and Finishes works of assigned packages. • Manage the tender query and response process. • Manage post activities of assigned packages including financial evaluation, conducting of post tender negotiations concerning contractual issues and package terms and conditions and prepare recommendations for contract award. • Prepare final contract documents for assigned packages for contractor and Client signature and distribution. • Prepare Site Works Instructions. • Prepare and maintain cost records for budget updates and forecasting. • Evaluate design changes issued in drawings and prepare cost estimates for Variation Orders for assigned packages. • Participate in negotiations associated with Variation Orders for additional works and contractor claims. • Prepare cost estimates associated with value engineering proposals. • Review Consultants' and contractor's monthly payment applications. • Manage package closeout and settlement of final accounts. • Participate in package progress and other required meetings and prepares minutes. • Manage and interpret contractual issues associated with assigned packages.
