Responsibilities:
1. Assist to develop Quality Plan of department and execute accordingly
2. Develop Detail BoQ in order to verify and control quantities during execution.
3. Generation of data and site visit (if required) to avoid delay, excess payment, consumption and wastage of material.
4. Participate in joint measurement at site in coordination with Site QS
5. Follow up with store keeper to ensure that safety gears were distributed properly in coordination with safety officer & check report of distribution
6. Receive invoices and compare with BoQ & work out with quantity accordingly
7. Ensure payment rate made as per agreement or approved rate from DGM.
8. Check arithmetic error on calculation of quantities and rate claimed from Site
9. Assist to review agreement and its scope of works prior to made Sub-Contractor agreement to prevent further complication such as scope of works and its VO
10. Assist to prepare project budget of each project to monitor in future
11. Receive petty cash bills, check arithmetic error and ensure that it was used on approved cost items
12. Maintain log sheet of concrete and regular review to prevent excess pouring on site. If found inform to Sr. QS (CC)
13. Receive concrete delivery note and forward to purchasing for LPO preparation after satisfactorily verification of quantity
14. Review ISO request to ensure that proper quantity were requested and immediately forward to timely release of LPO
15. Review & check bi-weekly material status and compare with ISO received to avoid excess materials at site as well shortage of materials
16. Perform quantity take off of materials at work.
17. Assist in checking subcontract agreement and to compare with budget and scope of work.
18. Receive weekly material stock report from main store materials and refer ISO to collect from main store
19. Receive biweekly stock report from site store
20. Coordinate with Sr. QS (CC) & Site QS to produce variation order data & qty.
21. Prepare requirement list to be procured upon award of project based on job analysis information such as materials, timber, block, concrete, etc.
22. Receive and review Bar Bending Schedule from site and release steel as per requirement.
23. Review Internal Supply order requested with sufficient backup of calculation sheet and required document such as specification and sizes based on requirement list.
24. Execute works in accordance to the approved procedures and forms ISO 9001:2000.
25. Maintain effective filing system in order to access documents on time such as agreement, logsheet, correspondence, calculations, budget etc.
26. Maintain communication with Sr. QS to upgrade skills and development of professional skills compliance with ISO 9001:2000.
27. Work hour starts with normal duty hours or as per latest instruction from DGM.
28. Performs any other similar duties assigned by the Sr. QS.
