Our client, a high profile electromechanical company is currently seeking to recruit Piping Design Engineer Key Responsibilities Preparation of Equipment Layout Orientation drawings, fabrication drawing, Piping Layouts, Piping Isometric Drawings, Stress Analysis Study and Pipe Supports Design (Performing Piping Stress calculations, Piping Support Sizing and equipment nozzle load verification as required by project scope Knowledgeable about codes and international standards API, ASME, ASTM, TEMA, Shell DEP, etc. Providing pipe wall thickness calculations and Tie-in drawings Development of the documentation for workshops activities (GA and workshop drawings, procedures, method statements, etc. Coordination with project team members to review all drawings and ensure the piping drawing is not fouling with existing structures or new structural design. Leading draftsmen by delegating and distributing the workload, monitoring them and expediting release of the relevant drawings (GA, Layouts, Isometrics, etc.) Generating consolidated BOM according with project documentation Vendor data review and assisting procurement department with giving technical clarification for vendor manufacture queries with regards to international and local standards Gathering information from all sources required including other disciplines, vendors, engineers, reference drawings, project sites, vendor data and catalogs to produce complete, functional and constructable design packages
